Hello, I'm trying to study for my CCNA certification and i want to set up a home lab so i can practice and work my way around so i can gain some knowledge. So as a starter can someone tell me what should i get? i came across so many websites and lab kits but since im a rookie to networking i can use professional opinions on this..
I don't mind purchasing a whole kit with 3 routers, switches and lab if thats what it takes. I just want to learn this. By next week i will start onsite CCNA training in a institute as well. i have some what knowlegde on networking. Please help.

There is a good piece of network lab software that lets you add devices, link them and practice all the things you need to do to set up a network. It’s called NetSim.
It doesn’t beat actual hands-on experience, but it is good for design and fault finding practice. If you can get your hands on some older cisco course study notes, you will get an idea of the type of network topology to expect. The equipment we used was a combination of 2-3 routers and 2-3 switches. Depending on the lesson, depended how many computers were attached to the switches. I definately suggest getting the NetSim software, we used it in the classroom because there wasn’t enough equipment to go round.
try BOSON software
Thank You guys!!!
