CCIE, CCIE consultancy, CCIE training, Certified Software Quality Analyst
I am B.com(hons) graduate and presently working as a quality analyst in medical transcription field and is 37 years old, would like to switch over in career, would like to know if age limit is factor for getting job into this field? Please advise.

I don't think that age would be a factor, provided that you have the knowledge and experience needed for the job. Do you have any experience with this field, or are you wanting to dive in from scratch? do u have any previous experience in networking and by what u said i think u dont have enough knowledge and i may take lot of your time. hi Parthabhadury. If you dont have any related experience in networking it may take very long time based on your work experience because networking is a very vast subject and it may take again 2 -3 years depend upon job you get.

i guess you will need to start from ccna (foundation) up to ccie..i agree that age will not be a factor and if you really work hard on it you will really go far

Thanks Harikanth for your suggestion. As you said age would not be a factor, but my question was I don’t have knowledge about networking, presently working as a quality analyst in medical transcription field, would like to get into networking industry and presently 37 years old. Is it a feasible idea of going into this industry and get into job. Please advise. Thanks

parthobhadury ………..i suggest to go to sum training institutes in bangalore ,india ipexpert,networkers home where they can provide u real environment for training as well as there are cisco workbooks,ine workbooks, video tutorials etc…..plz be sure to jump in these field becoz its like PHD for network engineers and u r directly goin for it…..wid regards abhinav
