 CAT5e patch leads in a CAT6 infrastrucutre environment
CAT5e, CAT6, Patch cables
Can CAT5e patch leads be used in a buiding that has been cabled with CAT6. ? Can the CAT5e leads be used at the patch panel end and the wall plate end connecting to PCs?

Yes. Cat5e and Cat6 are relatively similar, save for Cat6 has double the bandwidth at 250MHz. More than likely, you don't need over 1000MBps, which Cat5e can handle. Hope this helps! -Schmidtw
