Hello,
A little about me, I completed Masters in Microbiology in the year 2004, and then started working as a Microbiologist in Kuwait for 3.5 years, after which I got married and moved to US in 2009.  I have been researching the internet to continue my career in the IT industry ever since. So I finally came across this website and found it to be really informative.
From the above description, it should be obvious that I have no experience in IT industry whatsoever. My queries are, would I still be able to pursue a career in SAP without an IT back ground? I would like to know, based on my educational back ground and work experience in Life Science  industry, which module of SAP can I pursue? What are my options? Which module would best suit me according to you? Which SAP module is in demand right now?
Your advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Though it is more than 2 years ago, but still now it can be used as future reference/ search. You have asked several queries altogether. Yes, you can do sap course without IT knowledge. There is no hard & fast rules to continue the same, but it is recommended. Next according to your academic background you can go for sap healthcare/ pharmaceutical related certification. Here is a good article: http://searchsap.techtarget.com/answer/Switching-to-SAP-from-pharma-life-sciences
