Hi, I'm a Master of Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Programming and computing statistics from Pakistan. After completing my education in 1997, I'm working as IT Technician in a power generation company. I have planned to go to Australia after 6 months. Kindly guide me on if SAP will be suitable for me or not? If yes, than what module and how to enter in SAP i.e any certification or training etc. I believe your detailed response will help me to build a new career. Best regards Imran

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I’m afraid I can be of limited help. As a recruiter, I normally am looking for candidates who already have experience in SAP, ranging from 1 year to several years.

You might consider finding a consulting company which will offer a path toward SAP training and experience.

Here in the US, some of the most common modules requested include CRM, FI/CO, and BW.

Hope that helps

Sincerely,

Jon Williamson IT Manager, Webmaster, SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft Recruiting

    Learn to think for yourself.
Otherwise, when you get to Australia you'll find your diploma qualifies you to pick & pack stock in a warehouse somewhere.

Why not grow in your current stream rather than jumping into an unknown territory?

Yes, SAP FICO is better suitable for your career as you are a M.com, and don't go for SAP ABAP rather it is based on programming skills. However, this is entirely your decision.
