 Career change from Java to SAP BI

hi ,

I have been working for 3.5 years in Java,J2ee. I was interested in SAP BI, so i joined in a training center and did SAP BI course.. now i joined in a MNC asking for a change in SAP BI..I am having a dilemma whether to stay in Java,J2ee OR move on to SAP BI.. How will be my career in SAP BI for long term (say after 5 to 10 yrs )? Will SAP BI have market? Now SAP has acquired BO,how will be the market for BI?

Need your valuable suggestions..

Hi Govind, SAP BI is evergreen, Compare all other modules in SAP. Coming to your case, you can learn SAP BI. But initially you feel difficult. dont worry about carrier i have observed this SAP BI, people got interview calls in ression also. I think you had java exp. of 3.5 yrs. so SAP EP(Enterprise Portal) also suitable for you which is java programming all most. If you want quit from java then go for SAP BI or SAP ABAP(programming). sap abap will be advantage for SAP BI. me also very much confused in my carrier, so i am suggesting you that what ever you are mentally happy and satisfied do that thing other wise you will be haveing very sad face and memories in your future. all the best. JUST DO IT. THAT'S IT.

Hi..I worked in java,j2ee for about 2years and i took a break for 3years because of baby..Now i want to start my carrer again but am confused whether to go with java or to learn something new..bcause i almost forgot everything in java.pls suggest me am totally confused…
