We need to capture the schedule agent start date time as well as finish date time because we need to create an utility to check that agent has been started on time or not.

You can check it in the server log. Here is the link for full details:

Schedule agent may not run on the specified time, such as in the case when server and its resources are busy in doing other tasks. You can set the agent's schedule with LotusScript given at: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/46dom.nsf/0/65389424caefa06980256b260051da56?OpenDocument

The admin can also set the number of agents that can run simultaneously.
You can collect the agent’s information (agent start date time and finish date time) by viewing the agent's log.

Open Domino Designer; select the agent then Go to menu Design / View Log to view the selected agent’s log.
Simply you need to open the agent in designer to view its start date time and finish date time.
o know about the history of the agent run process you can check the server log (log.nsf, Miscellaneous Events view).
