 Can’t login
Okay I did a dumb thing. I took a computer that is connected to a domain and changed it to a workgroup thinking stupidly (I was in a stressed hurry) that it would work outside the networked office. When it boots up it comes up with the login but it won't accept it. I've even tried our Administrator login with blank password and with a password. How can I bypass this to get into the computer to set it up on a domain again? HELP!

Answer Wiki:
Hello - The first thing you need to do is figure out what the local administrator password is - this is not the domain Administrator account. This password was set when the os was installed (unless somebody has changed it after the fact). If you can't figure out what that is, you will need to change the local administrator password (sometimes you can't, so you really don't want to forget it) - you didn't list what os and service pack this is running, so I can't give you any help there. Once you get logged into the computer you can add it back to the domain. Lirria
