Can’t log on unless user has Domain Admin rights
I have a server that has shared folders on it. Recently, users with permissions to certain folders were denied access unless the user had domain admin permissions. Not all folders are doing this. Just 3 out of 6 or 7 shared folders. The users are in global groups within the folder. They have full control. This server is an NT server in a Windows 2000/2003 server environement. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer Wiki:
Just an offhand guess, but can you check that both the Domain permissions AND the local file system permissions are correct. I've seen a number of cases where someone tightened up security on the local file system beyond what the network access was set to. The key identifiable symptom is that the user can map a network drive to that location, but can't open the drive or look at anything. Good Luck, Bob

I checked local and server permissions. They are correct.
