Domain Controllers do not have local administrator accounts. You can locally login to the domain controller with an account in any of the following groups:

1. Account Operators
2. Administrators
3. Backup Operators
4. Print Operators
5. Server Operators

Can you logon as local machine admin without specifying a domain? Is there another admin equivalent account that you can login and check domain membership and user credentials? Are YOU the admin of the domain or is someone else? Maybe your rights are restricted.
