 Can’t insert mail merge fields
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word features
Trying to edit exiting templates and Word is not allowing me to insert other, or edit current mail merge fields.

Click file > open & locate the template that u want to edit . By default, all templates (incl normal.dot) r stored in c:doc & setti….<username>application datamicrosofttemplates. If no templates r seen then click arrow in the type of file box & click document templates i.e. *.dot. Now change whatever u want inlc toolbars, menu settings, and shortcut keys. and click save….
