 Can’t fix certificate error in iNotes on Windows 7 pc
Users running Lotus iNotes in XP receive a certificate error that they fix by installing the higher level certificate.  The same users running iNotes in Windows 7 receiave the same certificate error but there is no Install feature available for them to fix the error.

Check the compatibility of the software by right clicking on application shortcut icon, properties/check run the program in compatibility mode/window xp sp3 or sp2.. Hope this help.

While the problem may be with the browser that you are using to render iNotes… being unable to update the security. There may also be underlying iNotes compatibility issues…

From ibm.com:
- Windows 7 is a supported Operating System for iNotes starting with Domino 8.5.1 Fixpack 1 with iNotes Hotfix 304.2CHF1. Future maintenance releases and major releases will also support Windows 7.

- Windows 7 is a supported Operating System for iNotes with Domino 8.5.1 Fixpack 2 and Fixpack 3 without an iNotes hotfix.

- Windows 7 is not included as a supported Operating System in earlier versions of iNotes because it was released after those versions of DWA and iNotes were made available.
