Can't connect to Lotus Sametime on Lotus Notes 8.0


Lotus Notes 8.x, Lotus Sametime/Instant Messaging

I have Lotus Sametime standard 8.0 set up and all of my meeting features are working great. But for some reason I am not able to connect to the Lotus Sametime instant messaging server with either my fat client or my Lotus Notes 8.0 client. When I try to connect it tells me that my server is not availaible or that it is misconfigured. Does anyone know what my problem might be?
