I reinstalled the SP1 over the weekend and...same issue. I can connect to it through Remote Desktop, but it doesn't seem to be part of the network anymore. LAN users cannot connect to the shared resources on that server.
As per your suggestions, I tried to configure the firewall, but I get this message:
"Firewall cannot run because another program or service is running that might use the NAT component (Ipnat.sys)"

From what I read, many recommend to not install the SP1 on a server that is also a RRAS.

I am about to give up, as users connecting to that server is more important to me than the damn SP1.

Does anyone have other ideas I might try?

Thanks,

Lucian

Thank you for your replies.

I assumed that being able to remotely connect to the server (via Remote Desktop Connection)is enough of an indication that the firewall allows connections from other LANs...but I guess I was wrong...

I will reinstall the SP1 over the weekend and test connectivity again.

Doesn't the firewall run only if ICS service is running? If I stop ICS services, I should have no issue with users from other LANs accessing shared resources on that server, right?
