Cannot view users via workgroup machine on Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2003, PDC, Windows Server Error Messages, Windows Workgroups and Networking
We have a PDC Windows Server 2003.
There are two machines: Machine 1 on workgroup and Machine 2 on domain ABC.
When we try to view users in a particular domain via Machine 1 it gives us the desired result. However, when we try the same operation via the workgroup machine it gives us ERROR access denied.

If the machine is not part of the domain, it will not have the proper credentials to access domain resources. Unless you have reasons to keep Machine 1 in the workgroup, you should add it to the domain as well.
