Cannot delete Meeting request in Outlook 2007

I received a meeting request and i not able to delete this meeting. I keep on getting "Cannot open meeting item.The operation failed.An object cannot be found." How do i delete this meeting request.

Go to the following website to see the commands to use on cleanup for this issue…

Go onto the users computer and go to start, run, and type in

outlook /cleandmrecords
outlook /cleanfreebusy
outlook /cleanprofile

    Hi, A bit late, but I just found an easy way to delete Meeting requests that will not delete. I found that if you permanently delete the meeting request, by right clicking on it, and then select 'Delete' while holding the Shift key down. Hope this helps you.
