 Cannot delete email account in Office 2007
I have got connection error when creating an email account, but then found the account shown in the list on left hand side. However, when I want to delete the email account, error msg prompt and cannot be deleted. There found no such email account in Tools -> Account Settings -> Email, but I can find it in Tools -> Account Settings -> Data Files. Such record in Data Files also cannot be deleted. May I know what can I do to delete the account? Thanks!

Is this, perchance, the first account you entered (meaning it will be the default account)? Have you tried entering another account (like one of your free gmail accounts) and setting that to default before deleting the one giving you trouble? You could then re-add the account you wish and, after setting it as default, remove the "temporary" account.
