Over the past year, I've always used MySQL Workbench to my MySQL (using TCP/IP and SSH). I've never had an issue. But, all of a sudden, I keep getting this error message: Cannot connect to database server. I haven't made any recent changes. Why is this happening to me??

First ping the server from your system and is this OK. Is it pinging randomly or sometimes it shows "Request timed error". Make sure about that. Sometimes, it may be happened for virus also. Make sure your system is virus free.
