IIRC, the license requires that the software only be installed on an ‘Apple-branded’ device…so slap an Apple sticker on it and you’re good to go! ;)

VirtualBox has experimental support for Mac hardware emulation.

The Mac OS license does not allow for the installation of Mac OS on non-apple hardware.

There have been a few instances of modders claiming they have been able to load Mac OS on a PC, but the work around methods are quite involved and not worth the effort.

Mac continues to be “proprietary”.
