Can you connect a Cisco 7940 desktop IP phone through a wireless switch/bridge to a Cisco access point?

Is it possible to connect a Cisco 7940 desktop IP phone through a wireless switch or bridge to a Cisco access point (AP) and make it work? I am having problems with this setup. It is most probably unsupported but we sure would like to make it work.
Thanks!

This should work, but you have some problems to address:
1. Where will you get your power for the phone?
2. You will have difficulty enforcing QoS (connection quality).

You may find it easier to run a copy of CiscoCommunicator on a laptop (which IS portable and does work in that environment); or to get one of the newer wireless phones from Cisco (7920).
