Q:
Can Windows Explorer 'File Types' settings be amended by Group Policy?
To enable our reporting software to correctly export to Excel 2007 (WXP SP2 operating system) we need to change the following Windows Explorer 'File Types' setting:
Open windows explorer and navigate to the XLS file type and enable the "browse in same window" option, see path:
\Tools\Folder Options\File Types\select XLS file type\select Advanced\enable "Browse in same window"\
Can this be done by group policy ADM template, or does anyone know of a registry key to enable the same key?
