Can we create Libraries and objects in different ASP’s?
Is it possible to create a Library in ASP1 and then when some objects are restored to the library, place them in a different ASP6 all together as might need the Library attributes to remain there on ASP1 and just need to reference the objects which will be restored to ASP6? Are they interlinked or do we have to restore the objects to a library which is in the same ASP?

Answer Wiki:
I do not think so. As for any libraries created in an ASP, all objects in the library must have the same ASP as the library. ______________________________________________________________ The library and its own objects are stored on 1 asp - I used asp 2 for backups - the issue is you can not create a LF from one asp to a file in the other asp. Good for programmers if you do not use LPAR. not safe due to if an asp is overflowed it will load into another asp. look at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246802.html IASP might help you......
