    Yes, there is a notification on top of the phone screen (in general) and you can know how many connections are there with your Wi-Fi. Login the router and you can see activities from logs page/option. To view Logs, after opening router address (gateway) on browser, click Logs under content filtering. (for Netgear router). This option can vary on router's make/ model. Also you can download/install wireshark to do the same.

    More info is needed about how you Wi-Fi is configured, but yes you can see who is connecting and when. You may even be able to track the sites they are going to.
