Can I suppress the reason for shutdown on Windows Server

is it possible to suppress giving a reason for shutdown in Windows Server? I'm trying to do it on Windows Server 2008 R2 but I would also look at 2012 too. My friend told me to modify the Group Policy. Is that the right move?
