I've been trying to set user environment variables in Windows Server 2008 R2 as a normal user (not an administrator). I know if prior versions of Windows, I just had to open the Control Panel - > System Applet ->Advanced tab -> Environmental variables. And as a normal user, I could edit the user variables but in 2008 R2, it's asking me for the administrator password.
