Can I set up Outlook to automatically save a copy of sent messages?


Microsoft Outlook, Outlook

Microsoft Outlook does not automatically save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder. I have checked Tools -> Options -> Email -> Save a copy of sent items in the sent items folder. What am I doing wrong?

what version of outlook are you using?
One item you can check is the views filter. Highlight your Sent Items folder then go to View > Current View > Customize Current View. Check to see if any filters are turned on. If so turn them off and see if the show up.
