Can I replicate an Outlook address book to a BlackBerry address book?

Microsoft Outlook, BlackBerry Devices, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BES, Synchronization, BlackBerry, Outlook

We configure BlackBerry devices with BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook, but not wirelessly. This is standard procedure but recently it messed up a clients’ Outlook address book.

The client made changes in his Outlook address book and when he called me for BlackBerry setup, I configured the BlackBerry to synchronize with Outlook (address book, calendar, tasks and memo pad) by disabling wireless synchronization. There is a problem synchronizing the address book. The Outlook address book was modified and updated instead of the BlackBerry address book. The changes were irreversible and the client is frustrated with me.

Is there a synchronization setting that will allow the Outlook address book to replicate to the BlackBerry device address book instead of vice versa?

Within the Desktop Manager you can configure which direction the sync goes.
