I have somehow obtained possession of one of those touch screen photolab computers (minus all the printing stuff) and I'm wanting to do something cool with it. I was thinking about installing Windows 7 on it, but then I thought about using the iPhone OS? Surely, all of the hardware would be powerful enough to run it? Is this possible? How would I go about doing it?

Software/Hardware used:
iPhone, Windows 7, and touch screen photolab

In a word, no. The iPhone OS wouldn’t have drivers for any of the hardware.

Not to mention why would you? It can’t do much besides use the iPhone apps.

You might have better luck hacking an open source OS, like Android.

First, get the install media for the iPhone OS and be sure the media is compatible with your system. Next, make sure the OS version is compiled for the processor/chip set of your photolab system. If you can do those two things, the rest might be easy. :-) Tom
