I'm looking to parse a JSON string into an object in Google App Engine (Python). Would someone have an recommendation on how to do it? And if so, what service they would use? Would Django be the best option? Appreciate the help.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

When you need to parse a JSON string into an object using Google App Engine, Python is the easiest method. To get started, add the Python 2.7 runtime by using the command “runtime: python27 in app.yaml.”

Next, import the native JSON library. Use the command “import json.” Another option is to use the “json.loads (string)” command. If you’re running Python 2.6 or greater, use the built-in json.load function for a greater level of simplicity.
