Can i install IAS on Windows XP?
As i know Internet Authentication Service (IAS) is a built-in Service for Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server and we can simply install IAS on those. But can i install IAS on Windows XP? Windows XP didn't have IAS as a Built-in Service. but i think IAS would work on XP as well as 2000, etc. because XP have same core of 2000. i searched much for any download for IAS but no chance! Thanks so much!

Answer Wiki:
im sorry to say no you can't. it is a SERVER system type services option. XP Yes Windows XP is built on the 2000 core with a lot of tweaks and new codes and options etc.. , but it was built on 2000 professional concepts not 2000 server editions concepts , which makes it a Desktop targeted system not a SERVER system.
