 Can I change the GAL view order
Exchange 2007, GAL, Global Address Lists, Outlook, Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007
We have Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2003 and 2007 clients, we have over 15,000 user accounts plus contacts. Because of the many duplicate names, we have been asked to change the view to put company or department next to the name where title currently is displayed. Does anyone know how to change the view? Thanks

Here is an <a href="http://computerperformance.co.uk/exchange2003/exchange2003_GAL.htm">excellent article</a> you will want to read. It pertains to Exchange 2003. I did not find anything yet on changing the GAL in Exchange 2007. What the article points out is if you do change the order for the GAL it will affect future new entries, not exisiting entries which will not solve your current problem and will be a mess as new entries are created.
