However, the “initial menu” is not involved in the job until the “initial program” has already ended. It seems plausible that wherever the message is sent, the target won’t be around when the initial menu is displayed. (Except maybe *EXT which might go to the joblog assuming no display file is opened by the initial program.) Can you explain the business problem that you are trying to solve? — Tom
