We have a need to consume an external webservice from an application running on System i.What are options are avaiable to call a web service from System i? Based on our research, we see there are 3 possible options(listed below) and we are wondering which one to be an optimal one? 1. Use Scott Klemenet Api 2. IBM suggested practice using C stubs and XML toolkit 3.Write a java program on system i to invoke a webservice and call the java program using RPG/COBOL.
