An employee was sharing her bosses calendar to enable her to manage appointments etc. She created a link that cc's her on some events. Problem is that she is no longer with the company - her mailbox deleted. There are undeliverable's generated because she is auto cc'ed and since she created the link - we are unable to delete her cc. Annoying - any help is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I’d restore the mailbox and AD account, remove the settings from within her account then redrop the account.

If there is a new assistant, you can temporarily assign him or her the SMTP address of the person that is no longer with the company to prevent NDRs from being generated until a permanent solution is found. Have you been able to locate the rules that are sending carbon-copies? If you have not done so already, check the boss' Outlook for rules and disable, modify or delete any that you find containing her e-mail address.

It seems like it's most likely created by a Rule in Outlook. This could be a rule set whenever someone is creating the event or receiving it. Check under TOOLS -> Rules and Alerts for any items sending e-mail to that specific user, or a distribution group that she would have been a member. Also, check if the user or contact object is still active w/ an e-mail assigned to it.

has anyone found a fix for this? I am having the exact issue and the "boss" does not have any rules or settings on his end that auto cc's the employee.
