 Cached exchange mode group policy
I have loaded the template & set the policy in the default domain policy for cached mode to be turned on. Problem is that I don't see an option how to prevent users from turning it off. I used this article as my guide. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistan...1402591033.aspx Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Answer Wiki:
Best I can find for now (see below). The MS Office Resource Kit may be your key. "Exchange server administrators have the ability to enable/disable this feature (Cached Mode) in Outlook. For more information, contact your Exchange server administrator. Additional information for administrators is available in the Microsoft Office Resource Kit." Best regards, Dan LoPresto [ pitviper ]

I have never used the “Cached Mode Exchange” GPO. I didn’t know there was one. The method that I would have used is to roll Outlook is ORKTOOLS. Specifically, Custom Installation Wizard to create the MST for OFFICE11. I think you can controll it there. Give me more info on the GPO template.

Look at the link. After you load the template supposely all you have to do is enable one item. It is not working the way I had hoped
