First, let me say thank you in advance to anyone who helps me out. I've been charged with the task of figuring out how much cabling and accessories I need to get quotes for for hooking up 46 - Netgear FSM7326P switches to 185 desktop computers. I don't know the size of the office and any other specifics. Any round about guesses would be appreciated in how many feet of which type of cable I should look into and any other accessories I'd need to go along with it. Thanks again.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Without knowing the specifics of the office layout it’s impossible to come up with any real numbers.

Will you be using an IDF closet, or will all the switches be in one place? Will you be using copper or fiber to connect the switches? If copper then you’ll want to us Cat 6 cable.

As the switches are only 10/100 for the users you will want at least Cat 5E cables. If you plan on upgrading to Gig at any point you’ll want Cat 6 cable. As for length that will all depend on how large the office is.
