CA Express download from iSeries to excel

AS/400, PC/Windows Connectivity, Software

I really really need help finding a solution to this problem. We have users that download files from the iSeries using Client Access Express into excel. The problem is that when the report comes up in excel the negative numbers have the minus sign to the right of the number instead of the left. Does anyone know of a fix to this problem? Our OS is V5R2. Client access is SI23978 and the pc operating system is Windows XP. Please help, I'll be so very grateful.

Hi,
could you please check the file whether the Negative sign is for the same column or for next column, i guess the negative sign is for next column, while doing the import wizard in excel please check the columns carefully.
suggestion : do the data transfer again and while opening with excel, care full with column breaks
please let me know the result.
