what is the difference between stdio.h and conio.h?

Answer Wiki

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Hi
stdio,h is part of the C standard and provides the standard console io functionality on all platforms. By contrast, conio,h is DOS/Windows specific but has the advantage of accessing the hardware more directly and so is faster and can do “special effects” (eg screen clearing and cursor positioning etc that would normally need a library like “curses”) and colour text.
