Business Case to Upgrade to SharePoint 2010
Right now, we use SharePoint 2007 for collaboration and as an application platform - can you help me build a business case to sell to my boss for why we should upgrade? What are the key differences in 2010 that would help SharePoint better serve us?

Answer Wiki:
Managed metadata, better search, better disaster recovery, persistent links to files, more robust architecture and 64 bit hardware that you can amortize as a capital expense over time to start. Best business case though is a specific example or projecft that would be very expensive if you did a competitive analysis but which expense covers the cost of upgrade. My .02 cents
