BRMS Backup
Hi,

Can anyone please let me know how we can change a particular library(DBSLIB) from Test library to a Production library in the BRMS Backup Policy.

When I do WRKLIB DBSLIB on the AS400 Command Line, the attribute on AS400 for this lib shows PROD.Also this library is being backed up in our daily backup which runs at night.

I am not sure what we have to do in BRMS Back Up Policy for this library.

Please advice Thanks Hughes

If you want to omit this library from being BKUP daily, go into policy administration, take option 2 for BKUP policy, take option 2 - Work with items to omit from BKUP. Are you saying that in BRMS the lib shows up as PROD? BRMS gets that from the object description on the system. If you want to change a lib from test to prod or to test, you need to do a WRKOBJ QSYS/LIBNAME take option 7 to rename it with a "X" at the end of. Then recreate the lib as TEST or PROD then copy the data from rename lib to new lib. If this not what your asking, send me an email at bruce.derby@fcserv.com
