Hi All,
I am having difficulty customizing/branding Internet Explorer on the Systems I administer, I know it has to be done by editing the registry but how?
Hi,
Not sure to what extend you want to rebrand explorer as there are many things you can do. Try this little tool at http://www.adventcode.net/ I found it to be quite handy, also look at http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/logo_thr.html for some very interesting tweaking and branding tips.

If you live outside the United States, by submitting your email address you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
You aren’t very specific about what exactly it is you are trying to do, but it is quite simple to add your company name to the title bar so that it reads “Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by ‘yourcompanyhere’”. Using Group Policy, preferrable if you have a domain, or Local Security Policy on each machine, under User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Internet Explorer Maintenance -> Browser User Interface and double click on Browser Title. Check the box for Customize Title Bars and enter you company name in the Title Bar Text box.
This is really most useful way to “brand” IE since in IE7 the rotating icons to the right have gone away.
Good luck.
RealLife states the best method if you are using Group Policy. I would also suggest using IEAK6 to create customized IE configurations for more simple clients (workgroup pcs) or simple registry editing.
