BOM Download To Excel For I&PD Exercise

Are there easy directions for me to download from the SAP BOM's comprising 7000 lines to Excel for manipulation and pivoting of the data?

Don't think there's an easy way. The BOM data is in two different tables - Header data is in MAST and detail component data is in STPO. Depening on what you're looking to extract you could use SE16 to get the data from the two tables into spreadsheets. It could get tricky with validity dates of components etc.

Hi,
I think if you know which BOM or BOM number ten you can directly go to se16 and check whether you wanted to have BOM header details then go to table STKO not MAST and if you want to know the item details in BOM then you can go to table STPO and get the details downloaded into excel sheet and if you want both the details then donload both the BOM tables in two diffrent excel sheet and we can have wheel loop on the two tables .
