Blackberry and Sametime

Lotus Sametime, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BES, Windows Server 2003, Lotus Domino Server 8.x

Has anyone installed BES on a dedicated Sametime server in a Windows 2003 environment? We are running Domino 8.01 and are looking for ways to avoid reducing performance by running BES on our primary messaging server and at the same time not have to configure a separate dedicated server aside from the Sametime server.
Thanks in advance for any input on this.

This is not a recommended, nor is it a supported, configuration of Domino 8.0.1 on Windows 2003 according to all that I have read. Both Sametime and BES install Windows services and use a Domino server add-in task to connect the Domino side to the native product services. Trying to set them up correctly and keep them running nicely is not an easy thing to do. Neither product can be set up on Domino Partitioned servers either so you are stuck having to put them on different boxes.
