Q:
Best way to link servers for remote access
I am currently looking at setting up an additional office (approx 60 miles from HQ) and have only a very limited understanding of IT technology. What is the best way of linking servers to provide remote access and what are the comparative costs (for budgeting purposes) for the different systems available?

That is a wide open question! Your best option and most secure one is to get a private line from one location to the other or a VPN from a provider. That way, users at one location will have traffic routed to the other rather seamlessly. A good ISP will be able to help you sort this out or your local telecom company.
