Does anybody know of the best way to actually view HTTP response headers from a request against a particular URL? Would Telnet be the best option? Is there another command / tool that's better?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Telnet is good. Wireshark or other packet capture/analysis tools (tcpdump) are also good for viewing a web session.

Reinstalled Windows XP SP3 would recognize the external DVD drive without crashing

    HI,

Try the httpfox Firefox extension to view all HTTP requests and responses initiated from the web browser in the interval I specify (by pressing the start-recording and the stop-recording buttons). httpfox presents the data in a structured way in which I can quickly find the request I am interested in. It nicely complements LiveHTTPHeaders.
