I am currently a student at UAT and we were directed to this forum with the instructions to post a question about Security Frameworks, so the best question I can have is, What Security Frameworks have any of you personally worked with and which do you feel is better?

    Many people like the NIST standards and I'm partial to the ISO 27001/27002 frameworks. The real question is: what are your requirements? What are you trying to accomplish? If you focus more on what's important to your business you'll find that deciding which framework is "better" becomes less relevant.
