What is the best way to determine the number of CPU cores both physical and logical on servers. And the servers can range from the Intel architectures Intel X86 series, Intel X64 (Itanium), AMD X86 series, IBM Power4, IBM Power5, IBM Power6, IBM Power7, Sun SPARC IV series, Sun Niagara series, HP PA-RISC 8000 series, MIPS series processors. And for chipsets that support Hyperthreading, whether it is enabled or disabled.
