Hi everybody,

I am new to ITKnowledgeExchange, I am working as Oracle DBA and want to go for SAP Basis. I have working knowledge of solaris also.

My Question is : What is the scope of Basis in the forth coming years. If i want to switch to Basis how much time it will take for me to learn basis. What are the good books for Sap Basis Administrations

I got myself trained within 2 months and after that it is all about practical expiernces ....... The book "The SAP R-3 Handbook 2ND Edition.pdf" by author Antonio Hernandez is good ... well the scope of basis is good in forthcomming years... as sap has introduced Netweaver Technology ..... now i am learning the netweaver technology
