I have just loaded Windows Server 2003 onto my Dell server. It's a pleasure to log onto it after struggling to load a RAID 5 driver for over a week. I haven't installed Active Directory, IIS or the RDP. I don't have any internet connectivity although I've plugged it into my home wireless router. Would anyone have some sort of an order of events for loading/configuring the needed components to eventually facilitate RDP capability? I'm server ignorant although I will work it out in the end and hopefully some of you can help me along the way. Thanks.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

All you have to do is enable Remote Desktop. Right click My Computer, Proterties. click on the remote tab and then select the check box for enabling Remote Desktop. As a basic setup, this will allow you to logon as administrator. I use this option on my Domain controller as well. One of the first things I would do, is make your IP address on this server static, after that, setup Active Directory, then IIS.
