Barcode 128 Human Readable Text in iSeries
I work with two different iSeries at the same release level and sharing the same printers.

In the first iSeries (development) the printer file (*AFPDS) prints the human readable text for the barcode.

The second iSeries (production) using the same programs, printer files, printers, do not print the human readable text. I would like to know what to do without going for the patch of using parallel fields for the text.

Software/Hardware used:
iSeries V5R3M0 L00 , RPG, printer file (*AFPDS)

Perhaps the printer config is different on the two iSeries.

I would check the template. Otherwise, if you can clone/replicate iSeries Production to Development, then you wouldn’t have any issue afterwards. You gotta make them twins eventually, right?
